“Say You Like Me”

We the Kings

2011

We the Kings, a pop American band, released their music video called “Say You Like Me” in 2011. It is the first music video that uses Interlude’s technology, which is a digital media company that designs interactive videos. When entering into this different world, band members and viewers are able to experience, re-experience, interpret, and literally interact in the music video. Not only can viewers watch this music video, but viewers can also choose from different band members and play through levels to try and save the girl from the evil “bad guy.” The song will end as soon as the player loses; participants can also invite friends to play a 2-player game. The music video remixes and brings viewers back to video games like “Guitar Hero,” “Wii Tennis,” “Mortal Kombat” and much more. Viewers are able to watch, experience, interpret, and direct this music video.
